Amanda was awesome! She was able to get some of the traditional photos done, but she was there almost until the end capturing a lot of the fun ones too. She was very attentive and made sure that we got all of the pictures of items that we wanted. Amanda is very friendly and fun, but she has a tremendous amount of professionalism too. I would highly recommend Arrae Photography!

Amanda was very professional while at the same time easy to work with. She made my husband I feel very comfortable both on our wedding day photos and the engagement photo shoot. Unfortunately we had weather issues on our wedding day and she was there not only to make the adjustments she had to make with us moving our ceremony inside but to all so to assist with making sure everyone else knew what was happening. The photos she took captured who we are to a T. It has been such a struggle to decide what photos to order. I would recommend her to any future bride or family.

My husband and I were married on August 20th 2011 in the wedding of our dreams. This past holiday season was spent with family pouring over our beautiful leather bound wedding album as we relived all the happiness and wonder of that special day. As always when I reflect on the talent of our photographer, Amanda Montgomery I am simply amazed. She captured every moment, every expression, and every emotion in the many perfect photographs she took. Our wedding ceremony was filmed from all angles without anyone even realizing a picture was being taken. I can’t begin to describe how happy I am that we chose Arrae Photography and grateful I am that Amanda was not already booked for that day. I first learned of her by her many awards and published photos and was impressed by the universal top notch reviews given to her by her clients. Her website is a wonderful display of her abilities. It gives insight into her keen eye for beauty, form and perfection, her high levels of energy and commitment, and her obvious love for the work that she does. Still, it requires meeting Amanda in person to fully appreciate her kind and generous nature. On my wedding day Amanda was there the minute I got out of my car helping in every way she could and taking the exact pictures I wanted without ever needing any guidance. Our wedding package was very reasonably priced and included an engagement photo session. Neither my husband nor I like to pose for pictures and we expressed our feelings to Amanda. She suggested taking pictures of us doing all the things we love to do together and came to Kalamazoo from Grand Rapids to spend several hours with us. The pictures of us walking in the woods with our dog, grooming our horse, eating sushi in the restaurant where we met, and riding our motorcycles felt natural and fun. They are preserved in a beautiful custom engagement book and the wallet prints we ordered and placed in mini photo books for our guests made excellent and much appreciated table favors.Thank you, Amanda!

Amanda was wonderful. She was willing to travel for our wedding and engagement photos and was flexible in allowing us to choose a custom package. She is such a professional and knows how to put people at ease, which I soon realized is a very important quality in a photographer. The photos she took were stunning, and it was amazing how many she managed to take when she was working by herself at the wedding. I'm so glad we found her!

Amanda is the best! She is so friendly and professional at the same time and I appreciated her direction, especially during the family and bridal party portraits. She really knows what she is doing, that is for sure. She even brought directions to the MSU gardens for our limo driver and called the gardens for me to make sure that we wouldn't be interfering with any other events if we stopped by to take pictures! My pictures are wonderful; we're both so happy with them and our family members all loved them. She's fast, too. The proofs were online less than a week after our wedding and our wedding album preview is already finished, meaning we will have that in about four weeks or so!

I absolutely LOVED the photographs Amanda took for both our engagement session and wedding day. She does FABULOUS work, is very professional, organized and creative. 100% would recommend using her for your big day!

Amanda captured our wedding day perfectly. She was so incredible to work with and on top of everything! Our wedding album is so incredible and the turn time for our pictures was lightening fast! Amanda is wonderful to work with and very attentive. She has a great eye for "the perfect picture spot" and a very artistic style that translates into beautiful pictures, some more traditional and some very unique. She's very willing to capture the images you want, and if you also ask her to do what she thinks is best, you get a really great set of pictures! We really appreciated the outside the box creative thinking, as it resulted in the variety we hoped for in our pictures. She always seemed to be in the perfect place throughout the wedding just snapping away. We couldn't be happier with the final products - the albums are beautiful and unique, and the prints are just perfect! I'd recommend Arrae Photography to anyone.

Amanda is AMAZING! Beautiful photos and super easy-going! Being the groom, I wasn't the one who found Amanda/Arrae Photography, but I did have a few moments where we interacted prior to the wedding, and certainly utilized her services the day of our wedding. We love her work and loved working with her!

The photographer was prompt replying to questions, emails, suggestions. She was flexible with changing locations, times as needed. We got our proofs and album fast: within a month after the wedding!

Amanda is wonderful! She captured everything that I wanted which wasn't the same old boring stand in a line photos and they are BEAUTIFUL! She is really nice, easy to work with, willing to get dirty for a good shot, and it all shows through in her work. And on top of all that she is really reasonably priced and has a super fast turnaround (I got my digital gallery while I was on my honeymoon!). You can tell that she does this because she loves it and not to get rich and famous and I love that about her! I fully recommend her and would give her 10 stars if I could! When looking for a wedding photographer I found many to be very very expesive, many would only shoot certain types or a certain "style" of photos and many were very poor at communicating in a timely manner. When communicating with Amanda of Arrae Photography, she certainly exceeded all expectations. She was always very prompt to reply to my emails or calls. She asked ME what kind of style of photos I wanted instead of telling me how they would be. And I felt her prices were definitely reasonable. Our engagement photos were amazing and I could not wait to see what she would produce for our wedding pictures. When that day came, Amanda was on time to the minute, organized and professional. She was more than a photographer to me that day. She helped me by dealing with my florist for me while I got ready to minimize stress. She understands brides and how they feel on their wedding day and her great personality and demeanor helped to put me at ease.She took so many pictures, I don't know how she even found the time to get them all. She took wonderful photos of every aspect of the ceremony, the getting ready portion, formal pictures, and she also included a lot of reception pictures which I thought really helped to include all of our guests as part of our special day. The proof book we received was incredible and I have gotten SO many compliments on the photos and on the classiness of her finished products. She is an amazing photographer. If you chose her for your wedding, family portraits or any other occasion, I promise you will be so happy you did!

Amanda provide us with exquisite photos of us for our engagement session, and then again with our wedding. Our proofs were ready for us to view in a few days, and then our proof book arrived almost on the exact day we returned from our honeymoon. Her creative skills behind the lense of a camera are magical at times. She caters to the bride and groom, instead of being off taking pictures that other people are demanding. She took a lot of time to talk with us and get an idea of what type of pictures are were really after. I would go with Amanda a million times over if I had the chance!! She is a great asset to any wedding.
