Amazing! It was beautiful! They worked me in even though my wedding was planned only 2 weeks out. You couldn't tell! Beautiful setting, great pricing, just all around beautiful.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They really knew what would be appropriate for our wedding and gave great suggestions. It is a really lovely place to be!!

Planned my wedding with less than a week notice. The staff was amazing at customzing to my needs. The facility was beautiful and the service was impeccable. Very friendly and easy to work with. They went above and beyond to make my day special.

I thought this would be the perfect venue for us, but we found it very stressful to plan a wedding here. Bad communication, losing room reservations, and 4 weddings in one weekend (including a rehearsal during my reception and drunk guests from another wedding running the halls at all hours of the night before I got married) were only some of the challenges we had! I would have paid more to feel like my wedding weekend was well managed and relaxing (not that the place is cheap). Setting was really nice and food was delicious, but not worth the extra stress in my opinion.

We had our wedding at Bay Pointe Inn, on August 20, 2011. Overall, we could not be happier with our choice. The venue is beautiful and allowed us create our dream wedding with a stunning backdrop. The food is outstanding and our guests thoroughly enjoyed their dinner! I do have to mention that the power went out because of a big storm, however, Bay Pointe did an great job accommodating our guests; but eventually, the power was restored. There were a few bumps during our planning process, however, this is expected. I would highly recommend Bay Pointe to a future bride and groom!

We had the most perfect day with the perfect setting. I could not have asked for anything more. Everyone involved was wonderful to work with.

Bay Pointe Inn was absolutely amazing! The staff is unbelievable and both my husband and I had the perfect wedding - thanks to them! Everyone there made our day the best and given the weather they had to deal (hot, humid, sunny in the morning and then thunderstorms in the afternoon) just makes us want to give them 10 stars if we could. The entire process from the time we knew we wanted to have our wedding at their location was easy, relaxed, and simple. If we ever do another event in the future we would have it at Bay Pointe!

The staff went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I, along with our guests, had the best wedding experience possible. We planned the ceremony to be outdoors in May and faced 50 degree weather with rain and wind. They still managed to allow our dream wedding to come true and the rain held off just enought for the ceremony. They quickly and effeciently changed the original plans for the reception under the pavilion so everyone remained warm and dry. Excellent service to help make our day perfect! We had to make special accomodations for our taste-testing, and everything came out delicious! Amazing wait staff, food, and bar staff!

Bay Pointe was beautiful and the ceremony and reception were flawless. Everything went perfectly, I could not have asked for more!

We had our ceromony and reception outdoors on the lawn and under the outdoor pavillion. I must say that my entire day exceeded my expectations. The landscaping was absolutely gorgeous and added to our pictures and event so much. The lake was an amazing backdrop and absoutely breathtaking. The pavillion was flawless with the nice day and cool breeze after the sun went down. It was an absolutely perfect day and it couldn't have gone any better. Our wedding coordinator was extremely attentive to me and my husband and catered to our every need. She was relatively new and we thought she did an outstanding job. The reason we did not give all 5's for the review is mostly based on the process of defining our wedding package and contract. There were several instances where we were very unsure about what was included or not included in our package and what the cost of "adders" were. Things were inconsistent between the contract, conversations, and emails and this made it very confusing and frustrating for us. We also decided to book with them during 2009 and our wedding was in 2010, so the new wedding packages were being modified and issued after we signed. This also made it very confusing for defining our package and locking in our budget. Even though things got messy and confusing for a short period of time while working out the terms of our contract, everyone at Bay Pointe was very nice and easy to work with. And most importantly, our wedding ceremony and reception turned out to be the most beautiful and fun day ever. We are still getting feedback from our guests that it is one of the most beautiful weddings they have ever been to. We agree!

This was a nearly flawless experience, from the time we made our initial inquiries to the day of our wedding. If I needed information via email, it sometimes took a day or two to get an answer, but every time I called I got a prompt response. The staff was extremely professional and polite. And then, there was the food - awesome!! Highly, highly recommend!

The Bay Pointe Inn & Suites is a beautiful place to have an outdoor lakeside wedding. The food is AMAZING :) The staff members were very professional. The Bay Pointe Inn is expensive, but I would say it is worth it. The only incident I can complain about is that I wanted to cut our cake before we ate dinner and have the Inn serve the cake once the guest were almost done eating. The staff started serving the cake as soon as it was cut, before dinner; and when asked why, they said it was the Bride and Groom's request. Somewhere communication was lost. I gave a three star rating for responsiveness because it was hard to get return emails and phone calls. The information I filled out for our BEO form came back incorrect and it took some time to get it corrected. The good thing is that everything was corrected and we had a wonderful wedding.

Quality of Service: Up until about 11:00 the quality of service for our wedding was outstanding. However we had an incident with one of the bartenders. The rest of the staff did an AMAZING job. Very attentive to me, my husband and all our guests. Extremely friendly and did correct the issue with the bartender. Responsiveness: Prior to the couple weeks before the wedding it was at times difficult to get emails or phone calls returned. We did point out that we were concerned about this and it immediately improved. Professionalism: Again rated this lower because of the one member of their staff. But the everyone else was fantastic. Value for Cost: The cost of their facility is a bit on the higher side, however the location and quality is so worth it! Flexibility: So great with this! We were able to put together a custom package that worked for us.

I absolutely LOVED my wedding. All of our guests commented on how professional the staff was, and how seamlessly our reception proceeded. The location is absolutely beautiful, and the event pavilion is very clean and well-maintained. They only provide buffet service, which was fine by us, and the food was excellent. Simple but delicious, my favorite. It is a bit out of the way, but I found that vendors from Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo had no problem making the trip. The only caveat I can add to my review is that while the staff was spot-on on our actual wedding day, it was a bit difficult to get questions asked in the weeks and months prior to the wedding. But I understand that they are hiring additional staff to deal with weddings, so hopefully this issue will be resolved soon. And again, I can't overstate how awesome they were on our actual wedding day. Everyone had an awesome time. My final tip: rent a pontoon boat. Or two. We got it to entertain the kids, but after dinner everyone was clamoring for a ride. Best $250 we spent.
