What a party we had! And a lot of the thanks goes to DJames....My experience started over a year before the wedding, when I knew how important music was to a reception. While it was a little tricky getting a hold of James during the prior summer's wedding season (very busy) - he was always responsive to my questions - and closer to the wedding he was very quick to respond and set up a meeting prior to the wedding that was very helpful. DJames was extremely flexible with the requests that we had for how the evening should go. We had already come up with cocktail hour and dinner hour playlists and he accomodated our requests without question (he trusted our music taste after review). He also excepted and accomodated our requests for the dance portion of the reception - but used his experience to make sure that the dance floor remainded hopping. He was able to mix some tunes together - which was incredible and it felt like we were "at the club" at some points. He also did not play anything that we had requested not be played. In meeting with him before the wedding, he got to know us as a couple and even surprised us by throwing in one of our favorite movie hits. We had tons of compliments from the guests and the dance floor was one of the most active dance floors anyone has ever seen at a wedding. Amazing!

DJames was the DJ at our event. We had a great time, and our guests had a lot of fun. Personally I think music can make or break an event. We used modern songs instead of traditional music, and he was more than willing to get all the songs we requested (and kept from playing any ones we asked him not to). Prices seemed extremely reasonable, I had seen other DJs that were 2x as much. I was planning the wedding from out of state, so I didn't have much time. We met once, 2 days before the wedding, and everything went perfectly. He knows what he is doing and knows how to put music together. He even humored a young cousin who likes to ask a lot of questions. Very friendly, very easy to get along with. Definitely recommend.

James was great to work with. Everyone loved the music at the reception. He stuck with our list and worked off the vibe in the room. He was great at introductions and kept the night running smooth.

Our reception was a blast and the main reason was because James kept the floor hoppin' the whole night. He is very easy to work with and is open to suggestions from you about what you want for your event!!Out of all of our vendors, I would say that our DJ was the most important to us and James did not let us down..
