I loved working with Michelle! She was great to talk with through the entire wedding planning process. She would respond to any question I had very promptly, she was easy to talk to, and was very helpful with ideas to help make my wedding perfect and to flow nicely. She also made sure I was stress free on my wedding day. She took care of everything, so no one was coming up to me asking me questions about anything. She is a professional, so she knew how to run a wedding smoothly, and knew techniques on making a perfect day that I would have never thought of before. Overall, I just loved working with her and would recommend her to anyone!

Michelle is absolutely fabulous and so helpful. She has a great, laid-back attitude and a wonderful relationship with super vendors. There is no such thing as a crisis with Michelle around, she either planned ahead to avoid it or is so quick and seamless to erase it before you even notice. Every wedding would be so much more fun and carefree with Michelle and September's Bride on your team!

EVENTS by September's Bride and in particular MICHELLE, was AWESOME!!!! My sister lives in Boston and was getting married in South Haven, MI and Michelle was outstanding not only on 'wedding week-end' with overall coordination of the events but also in the months leading up to my sister's big day. Her wonderful personality, knowledge of local vendors, recommendations (and who to avoid!), coupled with ideas from her obvious experience in wedding planning and coordination provided great support and peace of mind for a bride planning a long distance wedding.The wedding was FANTASTIC and my sister truly enjoyed herself on her special day because we knew Michelle was on top of everything!!

I got married in South Haven, MI and I live in Boston. My sisters got me a wedding planner for the Day-of-Coordination (I had already selected the majority of the big vendors such as reception venue, cake, caterer, etc). I was so happy to have Michelle from Events by September Bride!! Michelle always got back to me very promptly, helped me finalize details and made a timeline of the entire day, so all I had to do was show-up and have fun. She was a great sounding board for etiquette and helped me handle some delicate planning situations with family/vendors. When my caterer called me at 9pm the night before the wedding to ask me what time everyone was going to be at the reception, I punted the responsibility to Michelle, so I didn't have to worry. She even let me use her kitchen table for my cake table! To top it off, Michelle is a nice person with a very good sense of humor and you will need that when you are feeling stressed out. I would highly recommend Michelle and Events by September Bride. Thanks Michelle!

Our wedding coordinator from Events by September's Bride was a life saver. On the day of our wedding, there were so many issues that popped up but our coordinator was on top of everything to make sure our wedding ran smoothly.

Michelle was fantastic! She went above and beyond to make sure that all of the details of my wedding were perfect. She was very organized and kept everything on schedule. I'm not sure how we would have done everything without her.

I highly recommend using Event's by September's bride as a wedding planner. It was extremely helpful to have someone setting everything up so I didn't have to worry about it on the day of my wedding. I was able to get answers to all of my questions quickly thru phone calls and email. I also got some great suggestions and ideas I wouldn't have thought of on my own!

Michelle from Memorable Events was a godsend for our wedding. She was so amazing through the steps of my wedding planning. I was a little nervous about having a wedding planner (thought I might feel my toes stepped on), but Michelle is a great listener, has some wonderful ideas and advice, and just makes working with her a joy! It was also nice that she didn't mind me doing a lot of the planning steps myself, but was still there to give advice when I needed it. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone looking for a wedding planner.

Michelle and her interns were absolutely fantastic! We hired her to set up our reception at the Meijer Gardens when we realized that due to the logistics of their hours and our wedding ceremony it would be impossible for us to take care of it ourselves. We had a ridiculous amount of DIY decorative touches, and Michelle made the room look exactly like we'd pictured it. Even more amazing, with only 2 hours to set up she was done at least a half an hour ahead of schedule- I don't know how she did it, but she did!While I only hired her about 6 weeks out from our wedding, she was extremely helpful in responding to any questions I had about the logistics of setting up the room in a way that would work, in suggesting solutions for our seating chart and time lines and always got back to my emails or phone calls very quickly. We met in person to talk through our ideas about the decorations and she was warm, enthusiastic about our ideas, and gave off a wave of calm energy that I imagine would be very soothing to any couple who hired her for a larger or longer term planning experience.Michelle took a huge load of stress off our and our families' shoulders by picking up all of our materials the evening before and setting them up just as we'd asked (with a few of her own lovely touches) like some sort of magical wedding elf without us ever knowing she was there. Fantastic service, well worth the price, and a generally lovely person to know. Thank you, Michelle!

Michelle was such a great person to assist with our wedding planning! She is so sweet, helpful, and easy to work with. It was so nice to have someone on the day of the wedding to fix any problems that occurred and to keep everything organized and on time. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing because Michelle had it covered - even running up the hill to shut off the sprinklers so the bridal party wouldn't get wet :) She helped us with our "vision" of what we wanted our outside tent to look like and she did an amazing job of the set-up. It was so fun to talk into the tent for the first time and see the beautiful tables and all of our happy guests.

I cannot imagine having a wedding without a day-of coordinator. I hired Michelle to help me with all of the details for the day of my wedding, and she did that and more! Before the wedding, she was able to provide advice about choosing and dealing with vendors that was priceless. On the day of the wedding, she took care of the setup of the ceremony and reception tent. When we had no plates on which to serve our cake and other desserts, Michelle left the reception to buy some. I literally had no worries on the day of my wedding...everything was perfect and I know that was due in no small part to the efforts of Michelle and her intern, Stephanie.

We were interested in hiring a day-of coordinator because we were planning our wedding in Grand Rapids, MI from Dublin, Ireland. We wanted to be able to plan everything ourselves but then put it all into capable hands so we could do nothing but enjoy our day and our guests. Being that my family (who live in GR and helped us with all our details) is very DIY, I also feared that if we did not have someone in charge, they all would concentrate on the details instead of just enjoying themselves and focusing on us! We found Michelle Torno through a recommendation on The Knot. We had spoken to other coordinators but no one clicked with us (or my mom and sisters) like Michelle did. Not only is she an absolutely sweet person to know, we really appreciated her support throughout the entire planning process, especially when we lost our florist and priest and had to find new ones. Michelle's level of professionalism was impressive. She was always quick to respond to e-mails and questions. Even her voice had a calming effect on a potential bridezilla! ;-) During the week leading up to our wedding day, she was always available if and when we needed her. She was willing to go above and beyond what we had originally asked her to do. She also offered creative suggestions on how to make our day even better. On the day, not only did she set up all our decorations at the hall beautifully, she put out those dreaded but inevitable fires and kept things running smoothly. She kept everything organised the way we had envisioned and everyone where they should be. No matter what the issue, she was always calm and collected. And she even seemed to enjoy putting up with our crazy relatives and friends from both sides of the ocean! We have since received tons of compliments on her from our guests. We honestly do not know what we would have done without her. She is definitely worth every penny -- more, in fact!! We would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!

I love Michelle!!!! She was the best addition to my sisters wedding ever!!! If I had to do my own wedding over again, I would hire Michelle all the way!! She is the best! My sistersÂ’ wedding was a little unique because she lives in Ireland, but the wedding was in Grand Rapids, MI. Michelle was a dream to work with. She had no problem communicating with my sister in Ireland or with us here in Grand Rapids. Michelle was always in control of the situation without being pushy or abrasive. She was always around, but kept a low profile and was never in the way. She truly had my sisterÂ’s best interest in mind and was dedicated to making sure the wedding day was perfect. I truly appreciate Michelle, and the work that she did for my sisters wedding, and I wish her all the success in her career. She has so much passion for what she dose!

Michelle steped right up to the plate after my then wedding planner just quite on me after 5 months of planning. She was professional and personable, she listened, was very into making sure this day turned out to be just like I'd dreamed. She is always available by email or phone (with no extra cost), she was a joy to work with. I have had so many compliment about the reception venue, which she decorated and coordinated. I lucked out finding Michelle, I would recommend her without reservations for anyone who is looking for someone who has a great price, listens to what you as a PERSON wants, and is able to put it all together!
