So happy! We hired Phrene' after the date we chose for our wedding was already booked for our engagement session photographer. She was so flexible and easy to work with. Joked with our whole bridal party and made everyone feel comfortable. Cant wait to get all the photos!!!

Phrene is an incredible photographer and did a fantastic job with our wedding. As several of the reviewers have mentioned, she is very hard working and passionate about her work. She will do whatever it takes to get the best angle for a shot. She is also very good at directing people and sticking to a timeline. I of course have no "modeling" experience but she was very good at telling me how to pose and what to do to get a good shot. She is also super nice and fun to have around for the whole day! Not to mention her work turns out great. We paid for her "whole day" package and she was there from early in the morning at the salon until the very end of the reception. Photography may seem like a big expense, but it is the biggest day of your life so I would definitely say that having a great photographer like Phrene there to capture every special moment is worth every penny! Thanks for the great work Phrene!

We could not have chosen a more wonderful and talented photographer for our wedding. Our family is absolutely amazed with our pictures commenting "These pictures look like they came out of a magazine!" and " You truly have the most phenomenal pictures I have ever seen for a wedding!" We thank Phrené and Carolina for being so accommodating and sweet on our wedding day taking extra time to make sure my hair was perfect and even climbing a tree in heels to get the perfect shot. Choosing Phrene was one of the easiest and best decisions we made when planning our wedding day. She was more than worth the amount of money we spent to capture our special moments. She and her assistant were both more than professional and made us feel comfortable--in fact we barely noticed they were there! Phrene does some of the most amazing work I have ever seen. Everyone who sees our wedding photos feels the same, as well. Phrene makes you feel beautiful and valued the second you meet her. Phrene was wonderful! She was extremely fun to work with while still staying focused on capturing the overall essence of the event and the intricate details as well as our personality :) All our family and friends have also been impressed with the pictures of our wedding and a couple have since decided to pursue her as their photographer for their special events. Phrene went above and beyond what my husband and I could even imagine. She's the hardest working photographer I have ever seen. Over the past couple of years I have been in several weddings, and all of my friends still say Phrene worked the hardest and by far took the best photos they have ever seen. She makes sure to get the BEST angle and position with her camera. During our engagement session she ended up getting scratched up and wet while wading through a river and field to get photos of my husband and I... and she made it so easy for us. My husband and I had the time of our lives shooting with her. I was nervous because he's such a shy guy, but she made our photo sessions incredibly special. There's no need to go into the quality of her photos. Just take a look for yourself. It doesn't get much better. We hope to continue to work with her through all our memorable occasions.

I would recommend Phrene in a heartbeat! She is extremely fun and easygoing, and her work is absolutely beautiful. She is also very flexible; she always has creative ideas to try but if you have your own ideas she will basically do whatever you want! Hands down the best investment I made in our wedding.

Phrene is absolutely, completely fabulous! Her photography is phenomenal, and she has a gift for capturing the perfect moments, as well as the perfect lighting and backgrounds. She put my fiance and me at complete ease, and we had so much fun just enjoying the moments and letting her snap away. On the wedding day, she and her crew (shout-outs to Brooke and Genevieve) just blended into our crew of friends and family. They were terrific with our friends/family, and made everyone feel excited and comfortable. They caught all the right moments throughout the day. Looking at our photos takes me back through the entire day, and every moment that they caught brings back a flood of memories. I knew Phrene from work and college and when my best friend told me she was engaged and needed a photographer I knew just the woman for the job! We met with Phrene and my best friend was hooked! Her work is unique, fun, and creative. She treats everyone as if they were her own family and friends. She did an absolute fantastic job on my friends pictures and people are still ranting and raving about how AMAZING Cyndi's wedding pictures were! We were so impressed and pleased with Photography by Phrene. Both our wedding and engagement pictures were beautiful. Phrene has a way of getting the perfect and unique picture. She has a way of making having your picture taken fun and comfortable, its hard to get sick of it. We had such a fun time both at our engagement session and wedding. She is very professional, but personable, we both were comfortable with her. We loved our pics, we had such a hard time picking which ones we wanted because we loved all of them. Phrene was fantastic as our wedding photographer. We got engaged in October and married in December, and she was completely able to roll with us in that short of a time. Things didn't quite go as planned on the big day -- weather, scheduling/timing issues, the fact that nobody's cellphones worked where we were in Northern Michigan -- but she was totally flexible, friendly, and fun. She was actually even kind of a rock for me as things reached near-chaotic proportions around me. The pictures are absolutely beautiful, and several people have commented that they look like something they'd see in a bridal magazine. I would recommend Phrene to anyone getting married in Michigan. She captured so many special moments of our big day, and I just can't thank her enough. Yay for Phrene!
