Rose Street Market

Linda was wonderful to work with and really kept us on track and organized. Her help was invaluable. We felt like we were her only clients, since we got such personalized attention. The food and presentation was outstanding! Highly recommended!

The setting at Rose St. Market is a beautiful, romantic setting and the food is absolutely outstanding! Our guests were very impressed with the quality of the food. Linda (co-owner) is very knowledgeable and organized and as a super organized bride, I appreciated it. She can be a little intense though and I did have several guests comment that she was a little brash. She was also sometimes difficult to get a hold of, I would send several emails before receiving a response, unless she had sent the initial email. Overall, I would recommend Rose St. It truely is a full service venue.

The food was great! However, when I got my final quote ( which was a month late and less than 2 months before my wedding), it was over $2000 more than my initial quote! It almost ruined my day. We talked about calling it off, but the deposit and all the other money spent, was non-refundable. To make things even more stressful, Linda is very hard to get ahold of. I also had many complaints from family members, that she was rude to them during the reception. On the other hand, Olinda is friendly and wonderful!

Rose Street Market was WONDERFUL. Linda, the manager is the most amazing, organized person I know. I give all my thanks to her for making my day as amazing as it was!

A breathtaking place to have your reception. Linda works very hard to make the wedding day perfect and will handle all the details so that everything runs smoothly. She thinks of all your needs and is wonderful to work with. I only had 5 months to plan my wedding and Rose Street Market & its staff made it the elegant day I had dreamed of!

My husband and I were attracted to Rose Street Market initially due to it beautiful facade and central location. Little did we know that they also provided full reception planning and catering! These additions ended up being an incredible help as we were planning our wedding from out of state. We were able to change a bit of the decor right up to the last minute, rent small items from them and they supplied and packaged our favors for us. They even individually packaged leftover cake slices for the guests to take home! Catering was through their restaurant Just Good Food. The guests are still letting me know that the food was some of the best they've had at a wedding. It was individually ordered and served, with great attention paid to each plate. It felt, and tasted, more like a delicious restaurant than a reception! Linda Pregitzer was exceptionally helpful throughout the planning process. She scheduled around our needs and was flexible in working primarily over the internet. She kept the reception moving on time throughout the night and seemed to have every little detail taken care of thus allowing my husband and I to relax and enjoy the night.

There is no better place to have your reception in Kalamazoo! Everything was PERFECT. You might think it's a lot of money at first, but it's all more than worth it. Linda is a true professional and will work with you to make sure everything is flawless. We wouldn't have changed one thing. Oh, and the food is delicious!

This was the best aspect of our wedding. Oh! Linda catering is 5 star all the way. Linda will help to create a perfect meal and give you tips for a smooth event along the way. The service at our wedding reception was perfection! We really appreciated the level of expertise and all at a reasonable cost. To say that all of our guests loved the food is an understatement.

After looking at a lot of bland venues, my fiance and I decided to look at Rose Street Market in downtown Kalamazoo. We knew it was slightly out of our budget, but once we looked around, we were sold. The space was beautiful, and Linda and Olinda were incredibly helpful, not just in renting out the space, but in helping us to plan out the entire day. It was like having a wedding planner. Everything about that night went off without a hitch. Even after I got sick at my reception, they were nothing but helpful in accomodating me while keeping the party going. The deli, Just Good Foods, located downstairs does the catering. There are a ton of great menu options, and our guests absolutely gushed about the food. We ended up having stations, including carving, pasta, and salad. We also chose to but some Just Good Foods' delicious truffles to use as party favors. The night was topped off with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries on the roof at midnight for the New Years fireworks. We couldn't have made a better choice.

Everyone at Rose Street was EXTREMELY professional! Abe was very attentive to what we wanted
