I can't say enough good things! We love their cake. Renee was very helpful when we needed design ideas and she was easy to collaborate with. We had no worries about the cake being delivered on time and we were confident that Ryke's would coordinate and cooperate with our florist to achieve the best result. The cake was absolutely beautiful and artfully done. Ryke's ensured that the caterers had all the instructions they needed to cut, serve, and preserve the cake. Not a slice remained!! (except for those that we requested they save!)

Rykes was a perfect choice to provide our wedding cake. Everyone one thought the cake wasn't edible because it looked so perfect. They all enjoyed the cake. Besides my dress, the cake has been the other topic of conversation. Thank you again Renee and Rykes! Shika & Amos Cotton

Ryke's Bakery was absolutely wonderful. When I sat down with Renee with my ideas for my wedding cake, she came up with the best way to achieve that, and the most cost-effective way as well. They did a BEAUTIFUL job, and people are still raving about how beautiful it looked and how delicious the cake was. We even payed extra to have it taken to our reception because we didn't want any other bakery doing our cake. Renee is so friendly and took every measure to make sure I was happy and knew that everything would be wonderful, and it was! I can't say enough positive things about Ryke's, they were amazing. Unbelievable. That's just one word to describe Ryke's for cakes! I had one of their cakes for a wedding shower, and we used them also for the wedding. Renee is fantastic in working with a budget bride, but the look and taste of the cake does not get sacrificed. We had a special topper and decorations for them to add to the cake, which looked fantastic! There were no delivery issues, and it was all set up that morning. Most importantly..the taste! The guests LOVED our cake, and there was not much to take home! The whole experience was professional and first rate. Ryke's will definitely get my business again for a special event!

Ryke's is the greatest bakery I have ever been to and eaten from. They are completely focused on customer service and will do anything to get it right for you. Their prices, while not cheap, are definitely less than they should be for the quality of the product they have. The cake is so delicious I am craving it right now just thinking and typing about it. The owner is awesome to work with, upbeat, and super excited to make the cake of your dreams. She is reliable and will do anything to help meet your budget requirements without sacrificing taste or design. I would not, and have not, purchased cake or bakery products from any other bakery in the West Michigan area; for that matter, anywhere in the Midwest. I have tried plenty of other bakeries and have never tasted anything as delicious as Ryke's cakes and fillings. You will definitely not be disappointed if you purchase your cake or other items from Ryke's.

Ryke's had the best tasting cake, the best flexiblity, the best everything. Renee was so helpful and it was a wonderful experience! I would definitely recommend Ryke's to anyone!

We went with cupcakes instead of wedding cake and it was the hit of the reception. Also, everyone said that it was the best catered food they have had at a wedding in a long time.

They did a great job working w/ my very vague mental picture of what I wanted in our wedding cake! Renee has a great personality to work with as well! Butch was very helpful and professional when it came to our budget and our decisions of what to have for the amount of guests we had. They both answered all of our questions in adequate timing, and the food tasted amazing!!

Renee was fantastic! She's an easy personality to work with and was very helpful with everything...especially since I was planning from 1,500 miles away. The cake was beautiful and the guests loved it so much there were no leftovers!!

I cannot say enough good things about Ryke's Bakery! The cakes they produce are FANTASTIC! From brainstorming ideas, to the physical construction and design, to the incredible taste of the cakes - Ryke's was tuned into the details and executed our visions that went beyond our expectations! I loved that the cakes tasted so good - their icing is not overly sugary/gritty, rather a super smooth buttercream, and the cake itself just melted when you bit into it. SO good! After trying several samples that were way less than adequate at bridal fairs, I was incredibly impressed with the taste of Ryke's cakes. We also made a special request of a three-tiered cookie cake - each telling a bit of "our wedding story." Renee Rouwhorst and her team translated our story perfectly in the illustrations - and once again, the cookies tasted phenomenal! Renee was also uber-resourceful to me; I ran into a major issue with my original florist and I was left to find a new one just five weeks away from our wedding date! She quickly provided me the contacts of florists whom she regularly works with and do beautiful flowers - she was an absolute lifesaver for me! I hands-down recommend Ryke's to any bride - they were probably my most favorite wedding vendor that I worked with throughout the planning process!

Rene was amazing - We enjoyed our entire experience with her and would highly recommend her. Our cupcakes were delicious, anytime we had a question she was quick with a response. She seemed very interested in our ideas and needs. And to top it off she was felxibile and kind! We loved her!

We lived out of town so all of the communication between Rykes and I were through email or phone. We also had a small budget and a small number of ppl attending so we were not looking for a huge wedding cake. They worked with our budget and our style of wedding. I was able to communicate with Renee with ease and appreciated her ability to work with us over phone/email. We also used Ryke's to order an anniversary cake for our parents. We will continue using them in the future and loved everything!

I struggled with vendors who were not calling me back and leaving me with a lot of questions. For a bride, this can be incredibly frustrating when planning the big day. It was a relief to work with Ryke's Bakery. Communication and professionalism could not be topped by any other vendors. They were kind and patient with my ideas of a great wedding cake. On the day of my wedding, I had no worries about the delivery of service. It was perfect! They are willing to go the extra mile to make their customers happy. Not to mention the taste of their products are AMAZING!!!!!

I absolutely loved sitting down with Renee and discussing a cake. She was very open to all of my ideas. The cake was gorgeous and delicious - we had no left overs at all! I would highly recommend Ryke's to anyone! It was an absolute pleasure using them! We also used Ryke's for our dinner. We got nothing but compliments on the quality of food! Butch did an amazing job and it was just a wonderful experience.

Renee did our cake and it was absolutely beautiful! The taste was amazing too! We had to change our groom's cake a couple of times because of random reasons and she had no problem at all! Butch did the catering and it was delicious! A woman in our family is now trying to come up with a way to make her ham as delicious as Butch's! Everyone complimented me on the food and we got a great deal! We LOVED working with Renee and Butch for our wedding! They are so nice and understanding about everything! I highly recommend them!

Meeting with Ryke's was very beneficial! They gave us great ideas and also used all of our ideas! They prices were great, the cake was great and our cake turned out the exact way we had pictured it and planned on!

Our wedding cake from Ryke's was beautiful and delicious. I wasn't too excited about the wedding cake to start off but Renee was so great to work with and her passion for making our cake perfect made it such a great experience. She took a pic we had found in a wedding book and created a unique design that we were looking for- and the cake tasting at Ryke's cute cafe had to be one of our best meetings for wedding prep!
