Katie and her staff were such a pleasure to work with. They really make you feel like a bride...special! They have an extensive selection of wedding dresses at reasonable prices. I could have gotten my dress from somewhere else, but I definitely would not have gotten the same service. Just be aware that Hilda their alterations lady is not a very pleasant person to work with.

I had a wonderful experience at The Wedding Bell. The store was organized, clean, and well laid out. They had a great selection of dresses at truly exceptional value. I would never recommend anywhere else, I had a really wonderful experience there. The only issue was the alterations lady had a somewhat difficult schedule for me to work around, but she was definitely worth it.

Katie was great to work with and I found the dress of my dreams! It was very unique and Hilda, the seamstress, was so supportive and made my dress fit perfectly. She was also great to all of my bridesmaids.

The Wedding Bell was great! I actually found the dress that I wanted a different bridal salon, but because they were so busy and I waited for 20 minutes for someone to help lace me up, I ended up walking away from that store without buying. Then I went to the Wedding Bell with my family and tried on the same dress and re-fell in love with it. Service really matters and they have service down. I also would have bought my bridesmaids dresses from there, but the girls found a different dress they liked at another store. The Wedding Bell was great and I recommend them to every bride looking for her dress.

Everyone at The Wedding Bell that helped me before my wedding was just wonderful to work with. I was nervous about dress shopping after reading horror stories in bridal books, about scams, mark-ups, etc, but I never had one doubt after going to the Wedding Bell. They let my mom help me try on the dresses, which she liked, and didn't even ask us about price, just let us shop and look at prices on the dresses ourselves. Even gave us a discount for buying on the first time we came in! And we got discounts on my veil too. Would highly recommend taking a look at the Wedding Bell.

This store is great! I found my wedding dress here the first time I went shopping. All of the consultants are very friendly and Hilda, the alteration person, is wonderful. They keep your dress for you once it comes in which takes a big load of stress off so you don't have to worry about damaging it. A++ for The Wedding Bell!

I can't say enough good things about Katie, Lauren, and Hilda. By the end of my 13 mo. engagement, I felt like they were my close friends. They recognized me by name and were always friendly and willing to help.My dress, my mother's dress, and my headpiece arrived promptly as promised. We loved everything! The staff is so friendly and Hilda is amazing. My dress was very detailed and had to be taken in numerous times prior to the wedding, but looked amazing.I have recommended the Wedding Bell to everyone I know.

Katie and her staff are absolutely wonderful. I purchased a sample dress and Hilda was able to transform it to fit me perfectly. I was planning my wedding from out of town, and communicating with the store was always very easy. I got my dress, veil, and the bridesmaids' dresses at Wedding Bell and was very happy with everything. I would encourage everyone to come take a look - just because it's a boutique it doesn't necessarily mean it will be more expensive than a chain store's dresses, and the quality and service you'll receive will be excellent.

Although I live in Colorado and that's where my wedding was, I am originally from East Lansing, Michigan. While home for a visit in June 2010, I went dress shopping with my mom and fell in love with a dress at the Wedding Bell.The staff was very helpful and promised me that the dress would be ready by the next time I visited, in December. We bought the dress and it arrived in the store in October or November, plenty of time.I had a very tight schedule during my December visit and the shop's seamstress, Hilda, was amazing. She met with me 3 times in 4 days, I think. The work was very well done. The only thing that kept me from giving a full 5 star rating was the way that the dress was packaged to send to me in Colorado. It was in a light cloth garment bag just placed in a box. Although it was FedEx that left it outside in the snow when it was supposed to have a signature, I felt very lucky that nothing happened to the dress with so little protection.In any case, I will recommend the Wedding Bell to my friends and family. (almost no need since my stepmother both had bought her dress there as well and was very happy with her experience:)

I bought my headpiece for my wedding from The Wedding Bell and I loved it!! I went into The Wedding Bell several times just to try on the headpiece because I couldnt make up my mind if I really wanted it or not and I was so impressed with how helpful and nice everyone was working there even knowing that that was all I was going get was a simple headpiece!!

We purchased my wedding gown, mother of the bride gown, 4 bridesmaid gowns, and rented our tuxes from The Wedding Bell. It truly is a one stop shop for wedding attire.I ordered a Pronovias gown from The Wedding Bell and it was/is gorgeous! Pronovias make such excellent quality dresses for a great cost and The Wedding Bell is the only shop in the Lansing area that carries this line.Katie Love is a doll. We absolutely loved working with her.We also used Hilda from The Wedding Bell for alterations on my gown, some of the bridesmaids gowns, and my mothers gown. In addition, she made my garter from the scraps she had cut from my gown (beautiful!). She also repaired my cathedral veil that I borrowed from my sister that had a rip in it from her wedding.I've since returned to The Wedding Bell (drove 1 hour to get there as we've since moved), just to be measured for an upcoming wedding I'm in. I wouldn't trust anyone else.HIGHLY recommended!

This is the only shop in town that sells Pronovias gowns. I didn�t know that was what I wanted until I tried a few on. Everyone in the shop is super helpful and they always remembered me when I came in for fittings. The initial dress shopping experience was great; no one was pushy but everyone was helpful. Hilda, the seamstress, did a great job fitting the dress to my body. They don�t have the largest selection of gowns, but I think they have the best.

I couldn't have been more pleased with my dress and the cost, however, every time they promised me something, they failed to deliver. It took almost 8 months to get my dress in, when they told me it would be about 3 to 4. It took about 2 months for my jewelry to get in, when I was told 2 weeks. I was also told that they would do my alterations when I bought my dress, only to find out that they were going to charge me $300 to shorten it and the lady who does the alterations was a complete witch. It's an affordable place, just don't expect great customer service.

Katie and the rest of the staff at Wedding Bell were a pleasure to work with. Both my mother and I purchased our dresses (wedding gown & mother of the bride) there and we were very happy with both the dresses and the service. Hilda, the seamstress, was also very nice and helpful - and did everything I asked (even if she knew the dress would not be comfortable to wear). In the end, the dress was perfect and everything I could have asked for. Thanks to Katie for her help in picking out the right colors for mom's dress and thanks to Hilda for allowing me to be a 'bride'.

The staff was very nice and helpful at The Wedding Bell and the owner Katie is wonderful! She will do what she needs to in order to make things easier for you. She understands the stress a bride is under and does everything she can to make the wedding dress the least stressful and most fun part! She has a very cute boutique that has a large inventory for its size. Trunk shows come through now and then expanding your opportunities to find that one dress. Katie's mom actually found my dress for me one day- I didn't think I would ever wear a lacey dress, but she insisted I try it on. I fell in love with it! And when the dress company messed up the train when they altered/sized it for my height at the factory, Katie made sure it was fixed at her boutique so that it was right and looked like the model / store gown. For this I am very grateful. I can't say enough how glad I am I chose The Wedding Bell. And Hilda the seamstress made my gown fit like a glove- she was excellent as well. Katie and her staff made shopping for, selecting, and altering my dress and my bridesmaids gowns one of the most fun and best experiences of the whole wedding planning process.Katie, Hilda, and The Wedding Bell are highly recommended from us!

Dress was amazing, and a great price. But the alterations lady they recommended was overbooked and I didn't feel she did as good a job that she could. Plus she messed up an appointment that I drove from grand rapids for.

the wedding bell as an amazing collection of bridal gowns. They also make the process of trying on dresses a joy and something really special (as it should be). I found the staff was always much more helpful when you made an appointment, but overall they are very attentive. I would recommend the wedding bell a hundred times over a larger chain such as davids bridal that can't give you the attention you deserve.

Katie, the owner of The Wedding Bell, was fantastic to work with! She was very helpful, but not overbearing! They welcomed you to take tons of pictures while you were trying things on, which many bridal shops don't allow photography. And even when I had a big problem when my dress came in, they called the designer, and sent it back, no problem. They were great, and not too pricey either!
